As an active practitioner, it can difficult be to plan for a lengthy
post-graduate fellowship especially if you work. We’ve created
several program options to meet your needs while achieving your
educational goals. Our innovative practice environment continues to
emphasize the highest standards while incorporating the newest, most
effective training approaches. Below is a brief description of each

What Makes Kaiser Hayward Different?

Option I: Clinical Mentorship Only
Immerse yourself in a stimulating 29-week orthopedic learning environment. You will receive online clinical coursework, tailored one-on-one clinical mentoring from the nation’s top faculty and comprehensive small group tutorials. The Clinical Mentorship is offered once a year, starting in October and ending in May the following year.
Option II: Clinical Mentorship Combined With the Advanced Fellowship
The Clinical Mentorship is designed as a stepping stone to the Advanced Fellowship. Completion of both the Clinical Mentorship and Advanced Fellowship are required to meet APTA requirements for graduation from a credentialed manual therapy fellowship and to become a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists (AAOMPT). Learn advanced clinical reasoning concepts and advanced manual therapy examination and treatment. Attain the high-level knowledge and skills to become a physical therapy primary care provider, faculty member, clinical specialist and/or consultant in physical therapy.
Option III: Manual Therapy Advanced Skills I Course Series – A Program for Busy Professionals
Are you interested in studying with the Kaiser Hayward faculty but not able to make the time commitment the Clinical Mentorship requires? Enroll in the Manual Therapy Advanced Skills Course Series to study the same state-of-the-art online coursework, interact with faculty and classmates online, and attend the same excellent laboratory sessions of the Mentorship.
